First information

Cultureshake (CUSHA) is an intercultural and multilingual learning project with the partner countries Sweden, Slowenia, Great Britain and Germany. During the project innovative teaching methods and multilingual class material are developed and tested.

The focus will be on two selected works of Shakespeare: “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “The Tempest”.

The material will be online accessible for everyone. The partner countries contribute different expertise in cultural theory, theatre education, multilingual principles of teaching and information technology.

The project is conducted by Dr. Annette Deschner (PH Karlsruhe) and promoted by “Erasmus+”. Cooperation partners are the Friedrich- Wöhler- Gymnasium (Singen), the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, the English School in Gothenburg, as well as the University Primorska (Slovenia).
